Ugandan shilling steady; importer dollar demand low

Ugandan shilling steady; importer dollar demand low

The Ugandan shilling was stable on Monday with dollar demand from merchandise importers and commercial banks subdued, traders said.

At 0925 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,675/3,685, same level as Friday’s closing rate.
