7th November 2026 — Ghana has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening economic cooperation with Germany to promote industrial growth, job creation and technology transfer.
Speaking at the Ghana–Germany Business Roundtable in Accra on November 3, 2025, Trade Minister Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare highlighted Ghana’s improving economy, declining inflation and public debt, and rising investor confidence, while inviting greater German investment to support sustainable economic development.
Africa, the world’s second-largest and most populous continent, offers significant opportunities for international investors across sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, infrastructure, energy, technology, mining and digital services. Its growing population, expanding consumer markets, natural resources and young workforce make the continent an increasingly important partner in the global economy.
Investment in Africa is not only an opportunity for investors but also an important contribution to global economic growth. Greater international cooperation can help African countries strengthen their economies, develop local industries, increase exports and build stronger connections with other continents.
Editorial message by Gautam Karve Editor-in-Chief, World Media Organization: “Africa is becoming increasingly important in the global economy. Investment in Africa is not only an opportunity for investors but also an important step towards supporting the continent’s economic development. The development of Africa will also create new opportunities for other continents and strengthen the global economy.
Africa’s growth is an opportunity for the world, and investing in Africa means investing in the future.”
